SPECIAL OPERATIONS TEAM
The Broken Arrow Special Operations Team was established in 1986. It is comprised of 25 officers and 5 medics. The team is subdivided into 2 entry teams, 1 sniper team, and 1 medic team
To become a member of the SOT unit you must be a 2 year officer with the department and pass a physical agility test, firearms proficiency test, and an interview with team.
The Special Operations Team responds to a variety of situations including but not limited to high risk warrant services, armed and barricaded subjects, and hostage situations.
